What is the Hard Dance Release Radar?
HDRR is a free, automated release radar for hard dance music on Spotify. It follows 8,322 Hardstyle, Hardcore, Frenchcore, Uptempo and Hard Techno artists, catches every new release on the day it drops and files it into the matching genre playlist, so you find new music by pressing play, not by digging.
How often are the playlists updated?
Daily. The radar scans Spotify around the clock, new releases land in their Release Radar playlist on release day, and the Top 100 charts re-rank on their own.
How is HDRR different from Spotify's own Release Radar?
Spotify's Release Radar refreshes once a week and only covers artists you already follow. HDRR covers the whole hard dance scene (including artists you've never heard of), updates every day, and splits everything into dedicated playlists per genre.
Where can I see all releases of a single day?
On Instagram. Every day we post each release as a story slide on @hdrr.info: cover, artist and title. Tap through the story once a day and you have seen everything that dropped. Festival discount codes show up in there from time to time as well.
