GPF

GPF, short for Greazy Puzzy Fuckerz, are one of the most chaotic and instantly recognisable acts in uptempo hardcore. The Scottish duo built their name on extreme speed, dark humour and a live show notorious for spraying the crowd with strawberry milkshake.

The Greazy crew

Greig Bowles, who also produces as Caine, and Matty Mannino formed GPF in 2017 with a simple aim: to take hardcore harder and faster and strip away its rules. They channel their output through their own label, Greazy Recordz, which has become a hub for the wilder, more irreverent side of the uptempo scene. Their collaborators include Unicorn On Ketamine, with whom they made the aptly named ‘Greazy Unicorn’.

Fast, loud and funny

Musically, GPF sit at the extreme end of hard dance, well past 200 BPM, built on overdriven kicks, screaming leads and their signature ‘piep’ sounds. The titles and lyrics lean into comedy and shock in equal measure, which has made them a cult favourite. Tracks like ‘KISS KISS’, ‘ALORS ON FUCK’ and ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright’ capture the mix of genuine production firepower and refusal to take themselves seriously that defines the act.
