About HDRR
HDRR is a hard dance producer working across the whole of the genre rather than one corner of it: rawstyle and hardcore, happy hardcore through industrial hardcore, hard techno and hardstyle with all of its branches.
The radar came first
The Hard Dance Release Radar went live in 2019: every new release in the scene picked up the day it appears and sorted into free genre playlists that refresh daily. Spotify’s own Release Radar arrives once a week and is shaped by what you already play, so this one covers the genre instead of the listener. Sorting by release date rather than by hype also gives smaller artists somewhere to be found alongside the headliners.
Releasing under the same name
In 2026 the name stopped being only a listening tool and the first release under HDRR went out on Spotify. More is planned across hard techno, rawstyle and jump, because committing to one subgenre is the one thing HDRR is not interested in.
