Wasted

Wasted is a name built for confusion and a catalogue built to resolve it: a euphoric hardstyle project (no relation to Wasted Penguinz) that has spent 2026 releasing melodic collaborations at a pace most established acts don’t match.

The 2026 sprint

The run started in January with ‘Be With You’ alongside Dulehec on sounds2feel Records, the label whose Connected By Music, Vol. 1 compilation also carries Wasted material. February brought ‘The Sound Of Light’ with ForgePhoric, a 155 BPM cut released with Dirty Workz (Belgium’s biggest hardstyle label) credited right on the track. From there the schedule barely paused: ‘Feels Like Home’ with V-SouL in April, ‘Echoes Of You’ with Venture the same month, the solo single ‘Fading Away’ in May and ‘Breaking The Habit’ with Lil Berlin in June.

Melody over muscle

Where much of the scene chases harder kicks, Wasted works the euphoric lane: emotional vocal themes, uplifting leads and disciplined radio-plus-extended releases. It is the sound that made hardstyle a festival mainstage genre, applied with a newcomer’s urgency.

Six releases in six months, two labels, five different collaborators: Wasted is in the audition phase of a hardstyle career, and the euphoric corner of the scene is clearly listening.
