About ANSBRO
Ansbro is part of a new generation of Irish producers making noise in hard techno. Born Cian Ansbro in County Mayo and now based in Barcelona, he built a signature sound around powerful kicks and energetic rave stabs that translate straight to the peak of a set.
From Nirvana to techno
Ansbro developed a taste for fast, aggressive music young, drawn in by bands like Nirvana and The Prodigy before that energy funnelled into techno. He started producing at 19, digging into the underground scene and shaping his sound alongside influences like Myler, Trym, Dyen and Nico Moreno.
Debut EPs and a viral flip
His debut EP ‘Stained’ arrived in 2022 on the French Black Plague imprint, followed by self-released work like the ‘Hard Point’ EP and a viral flip of ‘Bamboleo’ that pushed his name well beyond Ireland. He has since released further material including ‘Into The Flood’ on Unfaced and ‘Libertad’ on Kneaded Pains.
