Exproz

Exproz is one of France’s busiest names in raw hardstyle, a producer who takes the hard, distorted end of hardstyle and wires it to the energy of trap and drum and bass. Known as Bastien, he has turned a clear influence set and a heavy work rate into one of the more recognisable raw sounds coming out of France.

From hardstyle fan to Gearbox Revolution

Bastien first got into hardstyle around 2007 and began producing in 2018. Rather than copy the template, he leaned on what he grew up listening to across EDM, and the trap and drum and bass DNA shows in his drops. That approach earned him a home on Gearbox Revolution, one of the raw scene’s key labels.

Hybrid kicks and high energy

The Exproz signature is the hybrid kick: hard and screeching, but built with a bounce that keeps his tracks moving rather than just pounding. Cuts like ‘Jurassic’, ‘Check This Out’, ‘ANGRY SCREECH CLUB’ and ‘Beg For Mercy’ show that mix of aggression and groove, and collaborations such as ‘Welcome To The Club’ with The Straikerz have widened his reach.

Prolific into 2026

Exproz has been on a tear, with a 2026 run that includes ‘F YOURSELF’ and the official REBiRTH Festival 2026 raw soundtrack ‘Let’s KickOff’. He sits comfortably beside other raw acts like Clockartz and Devin Wild at the harder end of the hardstyle spectrum.
