About GRAVEDGR
GRAVEDGR’s origin story is the rare DJ backstory that needs no embellishment: before the mask and the music, he dug graves in a cemetery alongside his father. That melancholy, he says, seeped into everything he makes, and it shows, from the gothic iconography to a catalogue that treats darkness as a genre of its own.
Raw trap to raw techno
Introduced by Carnage in 2017, GRAVEDGR first fused hardstyle weight with trap structure (a hybrid his fans named “raw trap”), and his 2020 debut album “6 FEET UNDER” carried it to millions of streams. Then Rotterdam happened: during a 2022 European tour stop in the hardcore capital he wrote “AFTERLIFE”, his first techno track, and the project has leaned into hard techno ever since.
The masked wave
He belongs to the growing cohort translating American bass-music energy into the harder European styles.
