Synturb is what happens when a working club DJ starts answering his own track requests: the hard techno alias of Jannis from Bremen, a selector since 2013 who spent years as open-format DJ DJBaka before carving out a harder-styles identity of his own.
From the booth to the DAW
The Bremen club circuit is the backstory: he started his club career at 2RaumClub in 2022 and remains a fixture of the city’s electronic scene, including back-to-back work with fellow Bremen DJ MrsHetzer. The production chapter opened in May 2026 with ‘Werde Klang’ (‘become sound’), followed within weeks by ‘Nicht Getrennt’ (‘not separated’) and ‘Techno Travel’, three singles in two months, all wearing their German-language identity openly.
