Creeds is proof that one track can rewrite a career. Willy Taconné had been making music since his teens and, by his own account, was ready to give up when ‘Push Up’ arrived at the end of 2022 and changed everything. For years he had built his name in France’s underground, moving between frenchcore, hardcore, psytrance and hard techno without a true breakout.

The ‘Push Up’ explosion

‘Push Up’ was released in December 2022 and caught fire on TikTok in early 2023, where a wave of user videos and remixes pushed it into European charts and past 100 million streams. It became one of the defining hard dance crossover records of its era, the rare underground track that reached a mainstream pop audience without losing its edge.

A sound built for remixing

Part of what made ‘Push Up’ travel so far was how easily it moved between styles. Its skeleton fit almost every corner of the hard scene, and the official remix list reads like a genre map: DJ Isaac took it to hardstyle, Partyraiser and F. Noize gave it a hardcore edit, and Krysis reworked it into frenchcore. Few tracks show the overlap between hard dance genres so clearly.

After the breakthrough

Rather than chase the same formula, Creeds kept releasing across the harder styles, with tracks like ‘Milky Way’, ‘Product Of The Street’ and ‘FULL POWER’ keeping him on festival and streaming radars. HDRR tracks each new drop as it lands, so his post-‘Push Up’ catalogue stays current here.
