About Hard Driver
Hard Driver understood marketing before he ever showed his face. Freek van Kempen arrived on Dirty Workz in February 2012 with ‘World Premiere / On Fire’, and performed for a full year in a helmet with a blacked-out visor, hiding the producer previously known as jump artist Fenix. The reveal came on stage at Reverze 2013.
Anthem years
The mask trick worked because the music held up. Within his first years he produced the Bassleader 2012 anthem ‘Under Attack’ and the Hard Bass 2014 anthem ‘Exploration’, establishing himself as one of hardstyle’s most reliable big-stage writers, with bookings from Tomorrowland to Defqon.1 and Intents Festival.

Hard Driver became a cornerstone of the Dirty Workz roster alongside acts like Da Tweekaz and, from 2012, hardstyle pioneer DJ Isaac. His output balances festival euphoria with a drive-shaft groove: energetic, precise, never bloated.
