About Levenkhan

Levenkhan is the American face of frenchcore, a producer regularly billed as the first frenchcore artist to emerge from the USA. That framing sticks because it is close to the truth: for a style born and raised in France, an American carrying it into the scene stood out, and it made him the first American signed to Peacock Records.

From underground hip-hop to frenchcore

Levenkhan’s path ran through hip-hop first. He discovered FL Studio through a friend in Madrid, Spain, then sharpened his production after moving to New Jersey, surrounded by cousins deep in the underground hip-hop scene. That grounding in beats and swing still colours his frenchcore, which tends to hit harder on groove than the average 200 BPM kick roll.

The first American on Peacock Records

Frenchcore reached Levenkhan through Dr. Peacock, Radium, Lebask and the wider Peacock Records circle, and he became the first American act signed to the label. His debut album ‘Stalin Wears Balenciaga’ marked his arrival as a full artist rather than a curiosity, and his music has since reached stages like Dominator, Masters of Hardcore and EDC Las Vegas.

A hip-hop tinged frenchcore

His catalogue leans loud and confrontational, with tracks like ‘WHAT THA HELLY (SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE)’, ‘PAZZO’, ‘WE DONT PLAY’ and ‘MULTIPLY’ pushing the style’s speed while keeping a rap-rooted attitude. On the faster, harder festival stages he shares a lane with other new-school extremists like Partyraiser and US hard-scene names such as Lil Texas.

Every new Levenkhan release lands on the Frenchcore Release Radar the day it hits Spotify. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
