Pitch Mad Attak

Pitch Mad Attak is one of the free-party scene’s most prolific exports into frenchcore, a producer whose catalogue runs deep across the fast, distorted end of dance music. As the founder of the Mad Attak collective, he has built a whole world around his sound rather than just a release list.

From punk and reggae to hardtek

His musical life started on the guitar, in the punk scene, playing in a string of bands. From there he moved into reggae, working on two separate projects that took him from local stages to national ones. That grounding in live, rebellious music carried over when his curiosity pulled him toward electronic production, where he quickly became a fixture.

The Mad Attak collective

Pitch Mad Attak is best known for tekno and hardtek, but he refuses to sit still: his output also spans frenchcore, new rave, drum and bass and techno, plus an electro alias, monkeymonsta. He is a visual artist too, moving between drawing, sculpture and commissioned graphics, which is part of why the Mad Attak project feels like a full identity rather than a name on a track.

A reggae-tinged frenchcore

The reggae years never fully left him, and it shows in tracks like ‘ragga vibration’, ‘gimme the weed’ and ‘more fire’, which sit next to harder cuts like ‘Loudbass’, ‘Boom Boom’ and ‘Free your mind’. On the fast French side of the scene he shares ground with acts like Levenkhan and Dr. Peacock.
