Tatsunoshin

Tatsunoshin is one of Japan’s most visible names in happy hardcore, a producer and DJ whose bright, fast, euphoric sound has travelled a long way beyond the club. Born Tatsunoshin Fujiyoshi in 2001, he grew up dreaming of making video game music, and in a neat full circle that is exactly where a lot of his tracks have ended up.

From game music dreams to the dancefloor

He started uploading his own music in 2018, during his second year of high school, and moved quickly. His debut single ‘Dead Love’ came out in 2021 on the Australian UK hardcore label OneSeventy, and barely a month later ‘Forgive’ landed on Dirty Workz’s happy hard imprint Electric Fox and topped Beatport’s Hard Dance chart. Releases on Rave Culture, Kontor, Revealed, NCS, Barong Family and Spinnin soon followed.

Rave energy meets rhythm games

The childhood dream came true in reverse: his songs have been licensed into Konami’s BEMANI series (beatmania IIDX, Dance Dance Revolution, jubeat and SOUND VOLTEX), Bandai Namco’s Taiko no Tatsujin and other titles. That rhythm-game crossover ties him to the wider j-core world, where speed, melody and playability all matter at once.

Bright, fast and prolific

Tatsunoshin releases at a fierce pace, with tracks like ‘Bumble Bee’, ‘How To Love’, ‘High Forever’, ‘Summer Rain’ and ‘PUMP THE BASS’, plus a ‘Caramelldansen’ remix with Komb. He sits comfortably alongside happy and UK hardcore names such as S3RL, Darren Styles and Gammer.
