About The Saints

The Saints (Jules van de Sant and Rick de Deken) are what a hardstyle breakthrough looks like in the 2020s: fast, internet-fueled and built on a genuinely odd origin story.

A three-day crash course

Jules left a career in top-level sports in 2019 to chase music, taking production lessons at NS Audio and starting out under the name Kid Brutal. Then came the call: Rick (a friend of a friend) had landed a DJ gig without knowing how to mix. Jules taught him the basics in three days, the chemistry was instant, and The Saints were born.

Rescue Me to TUTUTU

Their debut ‘Rescue Me’ caught the ear of Adaro, who released it through his Rough Recruits platform, a raw-scene co-sign straight out of the gate. But the detonation came in August 2024 with ‘TUTUTU’, made with Ivector: the track took off, the bookings followed, and a deal with Dirty Workz (the Belgian powerhouse behind Da Tweekaz and Sub Zero Project) sealed the rise.

Chaos as a style

The Saints’ sound splits the difference between rawstyle grit and euphoric lift, records they describe as bordering on chaos and creativity. It is exactly the blend hardstyle’s newest generation favours, and with a Spotify popularity score rivalling acts many times their size, the audience clearly agrees.

Every new release from The Saints lands on the Hardstyle Release Radar the day it hits Spotify. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
