About D-Fence

D-Fence figured out something in 2015 that the rest of hardcore took years to learn: the internet is a mainstage. Appearing as a mysterious, no-context producer, he flooded social media with hardcore bombs (“Krakaka”, “Pompen”, “Dikke BMW”, “Koekoek Jonghuh”) that went viral by the millions and turned inside jokes into festival anthems.

From memes to Neophyte Records

The scene’s establishment caught on fast: support rolled in from Neophyte, Angerfist and Tha Playah, and D-Fence signed to Neophyte Records, premiering his riotous live show at Hardcore4life in 2016. The 2018 album “The Viral Collection” formalized the joke-that-wasn’t-a-joke, with collaborations alongside Crypsis, Deadly Guns, Destructive Tendencies and Alee.

Chaos with craft

Beneath the absurdist Dutch humour sits serious kick engineering, the reason the tracks survive on mainstages long after the memes fade. His current catalogue keeps one foot in that lane: on HDRR’s tracking, the “Hardcore Vibes” remix with uptempo riser Dimitri K, “Not So Bad” and “Brainshock” lead a discography of over 100 tracked releases that blurs into the uptempo end of the spectrum.

On the radar

Every new D-Fence release lands on the Hardcore Release Radar the day it hits Spotify, with the strongest tracks charting in the Hardcore Top 100. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
