Tweekacore

Tweekacore is what Da Tweekaz sound like with the speed limiter removed. Launched in 2017, the alias let Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli take their sugar-rush melodies into happy hardcore territory, and arrived at the exact moment the genre’s revival needed new champions.

The Electric Fox era

The project’s defining alliance came quickly: at the beginning of 2018 the duo founded the Electric Fox label together with Darren Styles, the UK’s happy hardcore figurehead. A Tweekacore B2B with Styles at Defqon.1 2018 sealed the partnership on stage, and joint material like ‘Partystarter’ carried it onto record, alongside early alias staples such as ‘Crash & Burn’ (2018).

Covers and singalongs

Like the main act, Tweekacore trades in recognition: covers and remixes, from Evanescence’s ‘Bring Me to Life’ to Fall Out Boy’s ‘Sugar, We’re Going Down’ (2024), rebuilt as 175 BPM festival singalongs. It keeps the alias in the same lane as scene fixtures like Gammer and S3RL: happy hardcore that never mistakes fast for grim.

A deliberate side gig

Tweekacore stays a treat rather than a treadmill: HDRR tracks 19 releases under the alias, with ‘Free’ (2026) currently leading its Spotify catalogue. Each drop feeds a genre whose comeback Da Tweekaz helped bankroll, one kick at a time.
