About Billx

Billx got to frenchcore the French way: through the free parties. Billy Nimant from Nice came up in the hardtek and tribecore underground (part of the group Fant4stik, releasing on scene institutions like AstroFoniK, Undergroundtekno and Audiogenic) and built his reputation as one of the pioneers of the pumping, tribal-rooted hardtek style before the big festivals knew his name.

The Peacock alliance

The door to the harder-styles mainstage swung open through Dr. Peacock. Their partnership is the most prolific in frenchcore (22 shared track credits in HDRR’s tracking), and tracks like ‘Naarayanna’, which passed two million YouTube views within months, put Billx in front of Masters of Hardcore, Dominator and Defqon.1 crowds without sanding off the free-party edge.

U can’t stop the rave

In May 2018 he made the ethos a label: ‘U Can’t Stop The Rave’, home base for his own output and a flag for the French rave lineage. The collaboration circle around it (Floxytek, The Sickest Squad, Mat Weasel Busters) keeps the tribe sound central even as frenchcore’s audience grows.

The catalogue

HDRR tracks 165 Billx releases going back to 2008. His Spotify catalogue is led by his remix of ‘La mort avec toi’ (2022) and ‘Path Of The Wisemen’ (2025) - melodic, story-telling frenchcore that shows why he sits beside Sefa and Vandal in the genre’s modern canon.

Every new Billx release lands on the Frenchcore Release Radar the day it hits Spotify. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
