About D-Ceptor

D-Ceptor is a longtime force in German hardcore, a producer and DJ whose career now spans two decades. Born Dustin Leinesser and based in Aachen, he moves between mainstyle, darkcore and frenchcore, and backs it up by running his own label and stage.

From a Belgian dancefloor to the decks

His first real contact with hardcore came in 1998, on a visit to a school friend in east Belgium. He spent the following years sharpening his live mixing and spreading digital mixes online, then launched his career properly in 2006, with his first official track landing on Important Records in 2009.

Mainstyle, darkcore and frenchcore

Rather than settle into one lane, D-Ceptor works across the harder styles, from driving mainstyle to darker cuts and fast frenchcore. That range has kept him on the bill at leading events including Syndicate, Dominator, Ground Zero, Nature One, Decibel Outdoor and Toxicator.

DEQUINOX and beyond

D-Ceptor is the founder of the DEQUINOX label and hosts the DEQUINOX hardcore floor at Ruhr-in-Love each year, curating the culture as much as producing it. Alongside the double album ‘Order & Chaos’, he has kept releasing into 2026 with tracks like ‘The Dead Don’t Sleep’, ‘Lost Moments’ and ‘Symphony of War’. He stands alongside other hardcore names like Meccano Twins and DJ Mad Dog.

Every new D-Ceptor release lands on the Hardcore Release Radar the day it hits Spotify. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
