About D-Sturb

D-Sturb’s route into hardstyle started about as far from a festival pit as possible: violin lessons at age four. Jorrit Popkema moved through electric guitar to electronic production, sharpened his craft at Utrecht’s Herman Brood Academy, and emerged as one of the hardest-hitting producers of his generation.

Breakthrough with ‘Kill Me’

The 2016 collaboration ‘Kill Me’ with Radical Redemption catapulted D-Sturb into the raw spotlight. He found his home at End of Line Recordings (the label circle around Warface) and stacked up anthems: ‘The Edge (of the End)’, ‘G.L.Y.’, ‘We Won’t Sleep’, plus the collab ‘Let The Games Begin’ with Act of Rage.

The kickroll signature

D-Sturb’s trademark is the kickroll: rapid-fire, pitched kick sequences that carry melody and violence at once, wrapped in atmospheric builds and a larger-than-life stage character. His debut solo album ‘Through My Veins’ distilled that identity into a full-length statement.

Defqon.1 anthem maker

In 2026 he received rawstyle-adjacent hardstyle’s biggest honour: producing ‘Sacred Oath’, the official Defqon.1 2026 anthem, currently his most popular track in HDRR’s tracked catalogue. From Qlimax to Defqon.1 headline slots, D-Sturb now operates at the very top of the harder styles.

Every new D-Sturb release lands on the Hardstyle Release Radar the day it hits Spotify. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
