About Warface

Warface (Youri Claessens from the Netherlands) turned an uncompromising vision of rawstyle into one of the scene’s strongest personal brands, anchored by his End of Line Recordings label.

Two names, one project

The Warface project began as a two-man operation: Claessens as its face and co-producer, with hardcore producer Remco-Jan Prevoo (known as Triax) working alongside him in the studio during the early years. As both careers grew, they amicably split the workload apart, and Claessens has carried Warface solo since, shaping it into exactly what the name promises: hard, direct, built for the front rows.

End of Line

As head of End of Line Recordings, Warface controls his own output the way modern rawstyle’s biggest names increasingly do: album-scale projects like ‘VENGEANCE’ and the ‘Live for This’ compilation series arrive on his schedule, in his sound. That sound blends raw’s brutal kick design with melodic hardstyle’s sense of scale and a hardcore edge inherited from the project’s roots, which is why his sets translate to both the raw stages and the mainstages.

In the front rank

Warface’s tracked catalogue (over 130 releases) places him firmly in rawstyle’s modern top tier alongside Radical Redemption, D-Sturb and Act of Rage, and a generation of newer names like Killshot and Rejecta has come up in the space he helped define. Festival crowds know the drill by now: when the Warface intro hits, the pit opens.

Every new Warface release lands on the Hardstyle Release Radar the day it drops. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.

Questions, answered

Who is Warface?

Warface is the stage name of Youri Claessens, a Dutch producer born in 1993. The project started as a duo (hardcore producer Triax handled studio work in the early years) before Claessens carried it forward as its face and driving force.

What genre is Warface?

Rawstyle first and foremost, blended with melodic hardstyle and hardcore influences: hard-hitting kicks with enough melody to fill a mainstage.

What label does Warface run?

Warface heads End of Line Recordings, the imprint behind his own releases including the 'VENGEANCE' album and the 'Live for This' compilation series.

What is Live for This?

'Live for This' is Warface's anthem-turned-brand, a title that grew into compilations and events, and shorthand for his uncompromising take on the harder styles.
