The Straikerz

The Straikerz are proof that rawstyle is no longer a Dutch-only export. Xavi Fontanet and Guillem Gomariz came up in Spain, far from the genre’s Dutch heartland. Xavi found the harder styles through Pont Aeri, the legendary club near Barcelona whose hardcore and mákina nights schooled a whole Spanish generation in fast, hard dance music.

Going viral

The two started out solo, releasing under the separate aliases Mr. Black and Mr. Red before joining forces. The duo has been releasing since 2015, but the breakout came years into the grind, when a string of tracks engineered for maximum crowd damage went viral across the scene: ‘FUNKY’, ‘Incoming’ with Adjuzt, and the perfectly titled ‘Kickroll Is Not A Crime’. Collaborations with heavyweights like Rooler, Sickmode and Dual Damage confirmed what the play counts already said: the scene’s hardest hitters considered the Spaniards their equals.

The 777 live-act

After relocating to the Netherlands to work from the industry’s centre of gravity, the duo levelled up their stage game with 777, their world-famous live-act, an adrenaline-first format that has carried them across Defqon.1, Intents Festival and REBiRTH, and taken their sound to Germany, Australia and beyond.

Dancefloor therapists

Their range shows in the 2026 team-up with Da Tweekaz: ‘Dancefloor Therapy’ pairs melodic genius with raw intensity, and it currently tops their Spotify catalogue in HDRR’s tracking, their biggest track to date.
