About Hardstyle Masterz
Hardstyle Masterz is what Technoboy and Tuneboy sound like with the masks on. One of the many studio names the Bologna pair ran alongside TNT, the project delivered a short, sharp run of hardstyle between 2009 and 2011.
Respect
The calling card is ‘Respect’ (2009), produced with Dutch mainstage regular Max Enforcer, an Italian-Dutch handshake that samples Technoboy’s own ‘Rage (A Hardstyle Song)’, the alias winking at its owner. Its companion ‘Rambo is a Pussy’ (2009) made the project’s sense of humour explicit, and a 2011 remix of ‘Loudness’ rounded out the run.
Part of a bigger fleet
The name only makes sense inside the Saifam camp’s playbook: Giusberti and Donà released under dozens of flags (solo ones like 2 Best Enemies and K-Traxx, and group efforts like Dark Oscillators) because more names made the artists and their labels look bigger than they were. Hardstyle Masterz was the pair’s most on-the-nose statement: a masked project literally named after mastering the genre.
