About Korsakoff

Korsakoff is one of the few hardcore names that needs no flyer introduction. The project was founded in 2001 by producer Bart Kok; in 2004 Lindsay van der Eng (born 1983 in Akersloot) became its public face, debuting behind the decks at Masters of Hardcore in Heerenveen before more than 18,000 people.

The leading lady era

The ascent was immediate: at the 2005 Dutch Release Dance Awards she ranked as the highest newcomer, placing 28th overall ahead of household DJ names. The 2006 mix album ‘The Sound Of’ and the 2012 artist album ‘Stiletto’ cemented Korsakoff as mainstream hardcore’s leading lady, with a festival CV running through Masters of Hardcore, Thunderdome and the genre’s biggest stages across Europe.

The sound

Korsakoff tracks lean melodic by gabber standards (vocals and atmosphere over pure violence), which is why they travel beyond the hardcore heartland. The collaboration list is scene royalty: eight shared credits with Re-Style in HDRR’s tracking, plus work with Outblast, Furyan and Hysta, keeping her catalogue threaded through hardcore’s history alongside peers like Miss K8.

Two decades deep, still charting

HDRR tracks over 90 Korsakoff releases stretching back to 2004, and the newest material leads the catalogue: ‘Legacy (Atlantis)’ (2026) and ‘We’ll Never Die’ (2025) top her Spotify tracks, a rare feat for an act in its third decade.

Every new Korsakoff release lands on the Hardcore Release Radar the day it hits Spotify, with her biggest tracks in the Hardcore Top 100. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.
