About Miss K8
Miss K8 built a hardcore career from a city with no hardcore scene. Kateryna Kremko started DJing in Kyiv’s underground clubs in the mid-2000s, then helped organise Ukraine’s first hardcore events to give the genre a home there, promotion work that got her noticed and, within months, signed exclusively to Masters of Hardcore.
The MoH ascent
Her 2012 debut single ‘Unforgettable’ arrived on the scene’s biggest label, followed the same year by ‘Divide & Conquer’, a collaboration EP with Angerfist, hardcore’s biggest name vouching for its newest. The 2016 album ‘MAGNET’, released alongside the Masters of Hardcore event in the Brabanthallen, confirmed her as a fixture, with label-mates like N-Vitral beside her on the roster.
Mainstream-rare recognition
Hardcore artists rarely crack the DJ Mag Top 100; Miss K8 did it four years running (#88 in 2016, #58 in 2017, #65 in 2018 and #69 in 2019) while headlining Defqon.1 and every major hard-dance festival.
