About Rebelion
Rawstyle is a Dutch industry, and Rebelion crashed it from Falkirk. Gary Odea and Raymond Baird sketched the idea at Hard Bass 2013 in the small hours, dropped the second L because it looked cooler, and mailed their first track ‘Extermination’ to Gearbox Digital as a demo. The Dutch label signed them and gave Scotland a seat at raw’s top table.
From bedroom to Empire
By early 2016 the duo had traded Raymond’s bedroom for a real studio, and the output grew ambitious fast: the 23-track album ‘Empire’ (2018) announced them as album artists in a singles genre, and ‘Artificial Intoxication’ (2022) (alongside hardstyle.com’s fan-voted Best Artist award the same year) confirmed the top-tier status. Then came their own label, Acid Reign, launched with ‘City Lights’, a number one across multiple hard dance charts.
Anthem years
The scene’s biggest commissions followed: ‘Capital Of Crazy’ opened as the official Intents Festival 2025 anthem, and ‘The Loudest City’ followed as the Decibel outdoor 2026 anthem. In HDRR’s tracking, ‘Save The Day’ (2026) currently leads a catalogue of over 200 tracked releases.
The company they keep
Rebelion’s collaboration sheet maps raw’s elite: 13 shared credits with Warface, plus work with Malice, Vertile and Sub Zero Project. Not bad for two lads whose local scene had to be built around them.
