About TNT

TNT is what happens when hardstyle’s Italian school locks its two head teachers in one studio. Technoboy (Cristiano Giusberti) and Tuneboy (Antonio Donà) began co-producing as TNT in 2002, running the project on an absolute balance of power: two veterans, one signature. And TNT is only the flagship: the same pair also recorded as Hardstyle Masterz and the jumpstyle project Antonio & Cristiano, part of the Bologna camp’s many-aliases playbook.

The Italian sound, doubled

Where Dutch hardstyle went dark, TNT kept the groove: driving kicks, reverse-bass swagger and a sense of humour that survived every era, from ‘Tritolo’ to the techno-flavoured ‘I AM TECHNO’ and gym-era winks like ‘Teknogym 2k19’. HDRR tracks over 150 TNT releases across the project’s two-plus decades, a run few duos in hard dance can match.

Collaborators across eras

The featuring list spans the genre’s history: Brennan Heart and Audiofreq on the hardstyle side, fellow Italian Zatox, DJ Isaac from the old school, and UK icon Darren Styles, with whom they made ‘DLMD’ (2020), still one of their most-streamed tracks.

Still detonating

TNT’s late-career form is the real story: ‘Hard Beat’ (2024) leads their Spotify catalogue in HDRR’s tracking (their biggest track in years, arriving more than two decades after the duo formed), with ‘Be Somebody’ (2025) keeping the streak alive. Italian hardstyle’s definitive duo remains its most durable.

Every new TNT release lands on the Hardstyle Release Radar the day it hits Spotify. The full tracked catalogue is listed above.

Questions,answered

Who are TNT?

TNT is the joint project of Italian hardstyle veterans Technoboy (Cristiano Giusberti) and Tuneboy (Antonio Donà), started in 2002 as a co-production outlet with an absolute balance of power between the two. The pair also shared other aliases, including Hardstyle Masterz.

What are TNT's biggest tracks?

Classics like 'Tritolo' sit beside modern hits: in HDRR's tracking, 'Hard Beat' (2024) leads their Spotify catalogue, with 'Be Somebody' (2025) and the Darren Styles collaboration 'DLMD' (2020) among the front-runners.

What genre are TNT?

Hardstyle in the Italian school - driving, groove-heavy and often tongue-in-cheek, ranging from reverse-bass throwbacks to techno-flavoured experiments like 'I AM TECHNO'.

Are TNT still active?

Very: more than two decades in, TNT keep releasing steadily, and their 2024 single 'Hard Beat' became one of the biggest hardstyle tracks of that year.
